The Official Who is going to the Big One? (aka Vancouver Sports Collector Show)

Only 3 more days until the show!

The reservation for the pub on Saturday night has been increased, sounds like it's going to be a good turn out.

Travel arrangements made and cleared by the Czar of Scheduling (read: wife) - I will be up there for the bulk of the day on Sunday - what time do the doors open and is anyone planning on meeting for breakfast anywhere?

Don't think there are breakfast plans offhand for Sunday Joe, but if you're in the area early and wanna grab breakfast, gimme a call. I'm game.

i could do that as well, providing that i can make my *** up in the mornin. i'll b stayin at the hotel if anyone else wants to do breakfast too

There's a Banner's Restaurant about a 3 minute walk from the show, I've never been so I don't know if it's any good but if people are looking for somewhere to go it's nice and close.

I'll be leaving my place down here at about 7:00-7:30am that morning so, depending on traffic and the port, I should be there between 9:00-9:30 I would guess. If you guys aren't too polluted, we should grab a bite before the show.

Man I wish I could be there on Saturday - uhhhh.

Matt, you could twist my arm for breakfast on Sunday. The Banners near my house out here is actually pretty damn good, it's nothing more than a semi-chain greasy spoon, but sometimes that really hits the spot.

Apologies

I have to apologize because I will not be able to make out the Vancouver for the Bossa Production Show this weekend.

I had every intention of coming out but a very interesting event has taken place in my family.

My eight year old grandson is in a band with four other eight year-olds and they are playing Sunday morning at the Whiskey-A-Go-Go on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. (that's where the Doors and U2 have played)

He lives in LA and goes to Rock Camp after school three days a week and this is the graduation ceremony. They are playing the Theme from Batman and Wild Thing by the Troggs.

40 years ago, I was in a band called A Passing Fancy, we recorded on Columbia Records and played all over Ontario and Northern New York State. One of the cover songs we did at our concerts was Wild Thing by the Troggs.

So as you can see when you are a proud grandfather as I am, I had to fly to LA for the weekend.

I will be at the next Vancouver show for sure, well unless my four year-old granddaughter is a play or something.

Have a great show and open a lot of '72 for the charity.

First of all, this is rather disappointing, as I was very much looking forward to meeting you, but family comes first. You will be missed this weekend.

Second, I now consider myself educated:

I unfortunately don't think I'll be able to make it as well. Disappointing but need to be elsewhere this weekend. Have fun and can't wait to read the reviews on here.

If anyone wants 3 3200's full of base from 06/07-08/09 please pm me, I will donate them to you. I'm tired of having these taking up space in my room, so please someone take them off my hands. I'll be there sunday!

I'll take them off your hands. I'll be set up down the first row. The guy with red hair. Should be easy to find.
