Here are the weigh-in results from this afternoon:

Fedor Emelianenko (232) vs. Brett Rogers (264)

Strikeforce Middleweight Championship
Jake Shields (184.5) vs. Jason “Mayhem” Miller (184)

Gegard Mousasi (205) vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou (204)
Antonio Silva (263) vs. Fabricio Werdum (242)

Roxanne Modafferi (140) vs. Marloes Coenen (145)
Mark Miller (171) vs. Deray Davis (170.5)
Jeff Curran (145) vs. Dustin Neace (*149.6)
Shamar Bailey (170) vs. John Kolosci (171)
Louis Taylor (185.5) vs. Nate Moore (184)
Christian Uflacker (156) vs. Jonatas Novaes (155.5)

Three of the four main card fights look really solid.

I'm taking Fedor by Russian Robot Super Punch in the first round.

As much as I'd like to see Mayhem win and prove that he's not just a clown and is actually championship material, I think Shields takes this one.

Sokoudjou falls to Mousasi.

Bigfoot beats Fabio.

Nothing like three full commercial breaks between the announcement of the last decision and the start of the last fight 18 minutes, just ridiculous.

second round...nevertheless, fedor is amazing... brock vs. fedor is a must, hopefully dana can do something...

with those clowns as his management (M1 Global), its not too likely he will be fighting in the UFC any time soon.
regardless of the money Dana White throws at him.

Actually, I've heard his contract with his management runs out at the same time his Strikeforce contract runs out (2 more fights). He will still own part of M1, just won't be managed by them. Not 100% on that, but I have heard it from people that should know.

If that is true, I'd expect a new management team, and a contract with the UFC by the end of next year.

Last note... I'm glad they didn't let Shields get interviewed after the bout. Terrible way to win a championship. Just holding your opponent down makes for a very boring fight.

That was a friggin' terrible night of fights. I'm sorry an I know I'm going to be lynched.....Fedor didn't impress me. Whats his name that he was fighting was extremely sloppy and should have been caught 3 or four times before he finally was.

The Shields/Mayhem fight. Well lets just say I want that 25 minutes of my life back.

Silva/Werdum. Meh, neither fought tremendously, neither fought horrible. Very meh.

And the scary thing is this was a "terrific" card for Strikeforce. I doubt I'll be watching any more SF unless Hendo crosses over.

Rodgers just showed you the mirror of Brock/Fedor if it ever happens.

Fedor = UNBEATABLE.

Someday people will learn.

Too bad for Mayhem, what a lame fight, hope to see Mayhem back soon.

I thought it was a very good night of fights and the card was well positioned in the order of the fights. First fight was 2 guys throwing some heavy hands, second fight was speed, speed and more speed. Third fight was entertaining, I was enjoying Miller unorthadoxed fight sytle and the final fight was very good. You had bombs thrown, ground and pound, submission attempts, blood and another bomb to end it.

I did think Miller won atleast 2 of the rounds and possible a third.

Toughest fight out there for Fedor is Overeem. I'm really looking forward to seeing that one.

Cage caused some problems for Fedor. If that fight had been in a ring he probably would have had that armbar in the first but the cage was against his hips.

I like Overeem alot, but I think the Fedor bulldozes him.

I don't think Overeem will be fighting in the States anytime soon. If you've seen him lately, you can tell there might a reason he has avoided Strikeforce cards lately, besides the injury he had.
