You are probably in line for tickets already.

Hopefully the first one in Ontario will have a better card than the innagural one in B.C.

I'm guessing krzysztof soszynski will be in the main card & Sam Stout will be in the undercard.

soon, but not yet. i think regardless of who is going to be on the card, tickets are going to sell FAST.

they are probably going to try and fit as many canadian fighters on the undercard as possible but will they be able to put GSP on there? his fight is this saturday - will that be enough time for him to prepare?

here are some fights that i would love to see

gsp vs jake shields
wanderlei vs leben
sonnen vs silva 2
aldo vs grispi (since it got cancelled from the jan 1 card)

I really hope GSP will be in the main event. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there is a 3 month ban from being in another scheduled fight after Saturday, so barring drastic injuries GSP should be good to go in 4+ months.

i think there's only a fight ban if you took significant damage in your previous fight. chris leben fought aaron simpson at the TUF11 finale (which was a WAR) only to fight yoshihiro HAIL SEXYNESS akiyama at ufc 116 in less than a month when wanderlei SIIIILLLLLLLLLLVA pulled out when he injured his ribs.

i am hoping that GSP will fight in april but let's first watch him punish koscheck for his shenanigans this season of TUF

Silva vs. Sonnen 2 might be a tough sell considering Silva's fighting Belfort less than 3 months before, and unless Silva finds a way to cleanly submit Belfort within the first 30 seconds of the fight, he might be eating through a straw for a week after the fight, much less fighting again less than 90 days after. Silva's chin will probably come into question a bit too. Sonnen rocked him a couple times with stellar punches, and Chael's not exactly known for his hands of stone, with his biggest profile KO being Amar Suloev, who Phil Baroni. If Sonnen rocks him with less than crisp punches, Belfort's going to punch a hole through his neck in comparison.

GSP on the card is a reality, however...if it's an available option (assuming GSP doesn't shatter his hand into a million pieces punching Koscheck this weekend :D,) I can't see the UFC not putting GSP/Shields on the card.

GSP on the card seems like a near necessity, hopefully he doesn't hurt himself while beating up Kos. I also like the idea of having Aldo/Grispi fight; so long as Aldo doesn't opt for neck/back fusion surgery. Regardless of what the fight card looks like this will be the biggest event in UFC history.

I would love to see Silva fight, he is my favorite fighter outside of GSP.

do you think dana will save aldo for the card in rio?

No because from my understanding they're not planning on going to Rio until August, and if Aldo can fight sooner; I believe that he'll fight sooner. There will be a number of big name Brazilian fighters to have on the card regardless.

I am guessing we'll see the rubber match between Fisher and Stout. A fight I would love to see would be Guida/Sanchez. There first fight was epic.

Who here is going......I cannot wait for tickets to go on sale.

Unfortunately, neither of those fights might materialize. Both Stout and Fisher are fighting on February cards, so unless they have really quick wins, they probably won't be fighting on such short notice. Neither of them are fighting pushovers either (I don't remember who Stout is fighting, but Fisher is fighting Ross Pearson,) so it might make things even harder.

Guida/Sanchez can't happen simply because Sanchez has made it clear he doesn't intend on moving down to 155 at the present and I don't think Guida could move up to 170 without losing a bit off his zip. Both of them also have fights scheduled in the not so distant future as well.

All great fight ideas you've got there, but Joe Silva already beat you to the punch and booked your guys elsewhere :)

Sanchez is better at 170 anyway. But, I would love to see Guida and him go at it again. That fight turned me into a Guida fan bigtime. And yes Ross is a tough dude. He was my fav out of the USA/UK TUF cast.

Dana White announced during the conference call today that if Canadian Mark Hominick beats George Roop next week he will get a crack at Jose Aldo in Toronto.
