Ouch. This is starting to get a bit ridiculous. Believe me, as a Canuck fan, I know how you feel when you look down the roster and see that much talent on the sidelines. Like we said last week though, better now than around March 25th.
Just so you know, from experience with this situation, here's a few things to get ready for from 'Haters' if you go on a bit of a losing streak:
A) Injuries are no excuse. Good teams play through them.
B) See, I told you! The Wings are not that great a team.
C) Hahahahahaaa. The Wings have lost 4 of 5. Looks great on them. They are a bunch of (insert derogatory term here).
D) What's the big deal? The only good player in that bunch is Datsyuk.
When crap like that starts coming up (if it happens), just roll your eyes, shake you head, and realize the source is based on jealousy.

This is really rough for the Wings. It will be interesting to see how McCallum does, or do they play MacDonald in the interim?

MacDonald will get all the starts for the time being. If he is awful McCollum will probably get a start. Doesn't look serious so far for Howard just a bruised knee. Might only be a week but I'm only going by internet reports. Who knows what the truth is. Homer is going to a specialist on Monday to see if surgery is needed. Hopefully not and it'll only be 4 weeks. At least Cleary and Datsyuk are scheduled to return in 2 weeks.
