Nick Diaz Tests Positive for the Sticky Icky

Why even test fighters for marijuana. It's not like it's a performance enhancer. Retarded if you ask me.

Nick Diaz has stated that he can clear his system of weed in 7 days through various herbal/homeopathic means. I've seen reported through all of this that it takes 30 days to fully clear the system.

Because there is no blood testing we can't know the last time he smoked up. Regardless he knows the rules and it seems highly reckless and irresponsible to put himself in this situation again.

It only takes 30 days to clear your system if you are fat since the THC hides in your fat cells. A healthy person only a few days max. I still don't get why they are even testing for pot.

That makes it even worse, because that would lead one to believe that he was smoking up quite close to the fight. Just ignorant on his part.

His year long suspension was upheld. He was also fined 30% of his purse.

Nick did himself no favors when he said that smoking marijuana definitely improves his ability to train, and take punishment. I wonder if his lawyer gave him the old WTF in the hall after the hearing. The whole point that the NSAC was trying to make was that marijuana can be a performance enhancer. And Nick flat out told them that's the case for him. Not smart at all.
