help with a patch

this is one of my newest pc cards and i was wondering if someone can give me a idea of where the patch on the pight side came from.

I have seen this before. It is the "I" in MacInnis.

I would agree, its a number or letter. Looks like it could be the "I".

It's part of the CCM tag on the hem - that part is embroidered - not the twill that they used back then. If it was a letter or number - it would be quite wrinkled

Yes I too at first at glance believe it to be a CCM tag piece.
