Cryptozoic rocks! They have to be the best entertainment card company ever.

2014 Cryptozoic Breaking Bad trading cards deliver a detailed look at one of the greatest television shows of all-time. And it's a lot faster to pour over these than it is to binge for three days on Netflix. The set charts the evolution of Walter White as he goes from a dorky high school chemistry teacher to a ruthless crystal meth kingpin.

The base set has 108 cards, making it Cryptozoic's biggest entertainment set to date. It covers all five seasons of the show, offering the ins and outs of Walter (Bryan Cranston), his partner in crime, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), Skyler White (Anna Gunn), Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) and all of the show's other memorable characters. With its intricate story lines, often shocking developments, strong visuals and astounding characterization, there's a lot of material to draw from.

Although specific details and odds aren't available yet, 2014 Cryptozoic Breaking Bad has autographs, wardrobe cards and prop cards that offer pieces of memorabilia used in the making of the show.

The release also has a pair of basic insert sets. One highlights memorable quotes from the show. The other charts the journey of Gus Fring, one of the show's big bads.

Sold separately, a 2014 Cryptozoic Breaking Bad binder comes with an exclusive card not available in packs.

Stay tuned for more Breaking Bad trading card details as they become available.

Estimated Release Date: TBA
Product Configuration: 24 packs per box, 5 cards per pack
Price Point: Low to Mid-End Entertainment Card
Target Audience: Breaking Bad Fans, Autograph Collectors, Set Builders, TV Memorabilia Collectors

Beg to differ.

They've done a good job on BBT, Walking Dead and a passable job on Fringe. The rest of their work has been at best lackluster, and the DC license stuff has been AWFUL.

Let's face it, just about anybody could slap out a Breaking Bad set at this point and it'll sell. Whether it's any good remains to be seen.

I also beg to differ.
Same as Steves points above which are bang on but with Breaking Bad they did not get any of the main cast under contract to sign, the auto list is awful to say the least same goes for Sons of Anachary they missed all the big ones but there at least they got a few second place cast autos but missed all the home runs, same goes for Pacific Rim and also Once upon a Time so you see a trend developing here right.

will there be "meth" cards where you could actually smoke it? might make it the most sought after product ever lol

Mike - The only thing I'd say in defense of the BB set right now is that it's still early. They're talking second quarter 2014 release. That gives them up to eight months to improve the content.

Of course, if it still blows goats, this stuff will TANK.

There's a thread on another site that outlines Cryptozoic's recent allocation rules which has put a lot of dealers off. Doesn't seem like they're endearing themselves to anyone, either.

If you could PM the link, I'd be grateful.

it only applies to the states, they have gone to only 3 wholesalers to distribute across the states and the uproar is from the arm chair quarterbacks who think they are twice as big behind the computers they hide behind, some dealers have to pay 1.00 a box more so its gonna kill them you know the whole boo hoo thing:corn::D.I really feel bad for them

There is hope cause they just added Gemma and Clay to Sons;):dizzy:

Well, I credit them with enough sense to realize that it'll go nowhere without stars in the set. As a minimum, gotta have Cranston.

About SOA set, they added Ron Pearlman aka Clay Morrow and Katey Sagal aka Jemmaa few days ago

But I agree with you many many important names are missing.

I am a huge SOA fan
