How far does your player collection stretch?

We've talked about cards, jerseys, McFarlanes and things...but how far would you go to reach 100% completion?

Would you buy...these?

Reason I bring this up is because I've been sent one of the NFL Gametime sets for review, and popped into an LCS yesterday and saw that they have NHL and MLB licenses too.

Apparently, they did a Superbowl set and lot of the marquee players (like Russell Wilson) are nowhere to be found. According to their website, they're in the process of doing an LA Kings Stanley Cup Champs set too

Isn't this wild? If OYO picked up a UFC license, I'd love to own a few of my favorite fighters.

They have a Burrows, it was brought to my attention but I passed on it. While I have bought bobble heads and McFarlanes, they at least have some passing familiarity. This was just a product stamped 14 Burrows and didn't have any other identifying characteristics.

No. But I did buy a Galchenyuk for a friend as a joke. He was thrilled until he tried to put the thing together. They're very small and somewhat intricate.

I suppose it's possible they have some investment value, although it may take a long time before demand kicks in.

I bought the Toews (both Chi and Team Canada) as an oddball PC item. From what I have seen these seem to be popular despite just a numbering and name stamping difference. Or maybe I just like lego-type figures!

Wow...i have never seen these mini figures, but i think they are awesome and will be picking some up next time i see them. As far as my collections go...aside from a few mcfarlanes and actual autographed jerseys i stick to cards....
thanks for opening my eyes to a new possible collection..lol

Pogs had "investment" value too. At least there are varying degrees of facial hair on them, but otherwise I'll pass.

If they made a Ranford, I'd be all over it. Closest I've got is a couple of mini masks from McDonalds though.

I think they're cool and would like to get the stanley cup champion kings ones (with the beard haha), but not really at close to $15 each. If the team set was like 15-20 I would, but definitely not at an individual price.

If they had an o'sullivan (and this was a couple of years ago) I would definitely have bought it though. I like the oddball stuff
