3 game win streak tonight :beer: I always tell my 13 year old son the #1 rule is never give up on your team, never hope they lose!!! Can't do it. As much as I want a high pick I hate tanking and certainly won't cheer for the other team they play.

Toronto is going to be either 28, 27 or 26, and if a higher seed team wins the lottery, could possibly pick as low as number 6. The top 6 skaters in the rankings right now would all be good helps for them, so I would say the late season decision to see how low they could get, realizing they were never going to get to 30th given they had delusions of grandeur at the start of the season, has been a success.

But it was painful to watch them blow that lead last night to the worst team in the league...

I still don't understand what happened. Sounds like the old classic leafs though. Leading after 2 periods then give up and loose in the third. And no matter what you want them to do (win and still not make the playoffs) or tank and try for mcdavid for a better future. Your still a leafs fan. And if you have been with them threw any period of this 48 year loosing streak then your still a true leafs fan into book

I consider myself a fan and yet I won't support this product. Enough is enough. It's idiots like me who keep paying for tickets to watch this garbage. In all honesty. I have been a sucker. I won't be going to another game until they reach the playoffs again. My Fandom is related to 1985 when they got Clark and again when Sundin was on the team. I get support thick and thin but I am tired of it.

When your own fans are actively cheering for your team to lose in order to tank, then the system needs to be fixed. Last night the Sabres fans were cheering the Leafs and vice versa!

Cheer or no cheer, when a franchise player like Mcdavid is on the line people are thinking about the future. Who cares about the last week of games when your in the basement. You win out the last week your hurting yourself in the future.
