That's a pretty consistent autograph by a such arrogant "jerk" huh?
His auto may not be the fanciest one but awfully consistent and looks about 95% exactly same now as for 20 years ago, now that's fairly impressive, or?

But Gilles Gilbert's autograph is just tremendous, seriously!

Seems like you almost need two threads here. One for "best auto by a player born after 1975", since there are far fewer of those represented in these threads.

"Vintage" players all seemed to have very legible signatures -- ones where you could actually read each letter and know who signed what, vs today's players who sign a heck of a lot more stuff, and just rattle it off.

Thanks for some great scans tho -- great thread for sure. As for myself, I'll echo either Hasek or Khabibulin as my favourite auto for a "modern player".

Not sure if he has been mentioned yet but here is one of my favorite sighners simply because he puts effort into each and every auto.

I would say the Old Timers had the best autos. For the most part, clean and legible.

I always liked Yutaka Fukufuji's japanese auto, cause well, its in Japanese.

I have to agree that old timers are the best..
However that Yutaka Fukufuji's japanese auto is awesome!
The fact he signed it in Japanese make it one of a kind!
