Looking for some input on weather on not to pick up a box or two of this product. Supposed to be 10 cards all hits 5 1 of1 's.

Sale price this week $50.95

Is this a good break or just a crap shoot.

Appreciate your thoughts and comments.

I personally think at that kind of price, its a great break, especially if you are opening it because you were a fan of ITG, at 5 bucks a card essentially with some being autos and memorabilia, its hard to find a better value right now

I think at that price it would be a great break. You never know what stuff may come out of Final Vault, which makes for a very fun break as well.

Oh, and If you pull any Enroth cards, please let me know :)

Product is great! I'll take the "garbage recycled product with a V stamp" HOF autos and memorabilia all day long. Same autos and same memorabilia in my mind. I love that some people turn their noses up at it and let me have it cheaper. Keep it up! :)

Good price for the amount of cards you get. Some nice cards if you want to keep them. Not much value on the resale market because of the V stamp.

Some people like vault due to the cheap price point.I agree with Kevin as the resale value isn't great but that's speaks for the whole ITG lineup now unless it rare vintage or some deceased Hofer autos. If your the person who likes stamped 1/1 cards then give it a whirl and enjoy a cheap break

Thank you everyone for the input. I know like playing the lottery, one always hopes to hit the big one. Plus it does sound like a good weekend price tag. Which is why I am seeking opinions. Is it to good to be true. If I do pick one up you will see my box break here in a week or so.

Happy to help :)

Like this product however it would have done much better imo without the stamps on the cards. Prob would have been received by the hobby better.

And that would have lead to problems such as the Justin Bailey 6/5. The whole point was to keep the original print runs in tact for the cards, otherwise Dr. Price would have been opening himself to some significant legal issues.

Based on the history and origin of the cards in this product, a stampless version of this product would NOT have been well received by the Hobby.... hahaa

I like the stamps. I think ITG did what they had to do with this product, and the different colour stamps add some collectibility to them as well. A checklist of the stamps would have been nice, but I understand why they didn't. A lot to keep track of in what was probably a short amount of time I presume.

But the stamps at the end of the day were very necessary in my opinion. Plus they sit on the card well, aren't distracting IMO, and serve a purpose in this Vault product.

price is good product is garbage recycled product with a V stamp on it[/QUOTE

Here are some of the "garbage" cards I have pulled

I know it's not for everybody, and resale value is low, but pulling these out of a $50 box is pretty awesome...you honestly never know what could be in these

Nothing like slagging a product others love and by extension the collectors themselves with a comment like that. :dislike:

Garbage huh? Thank God I don't use your review of a product to purchase it. Unfortunately it's fellow collectors like yourself that are driving us collectors of anything other than Upper Deck out of hobby forums with ill thought comments like that. -Mike :brow:

+1 i grabbed so many nice vintage Leafs that i would have never been able to afford otherwise.

I have a few vault cards & would never be able to afford the legit pack pulled originals if they were ever to turn up. This one is my favourite

Tittle asked for opinions about the product, I gave my honest one.....I guess maybe it should have read looking for positive opinions, in wich case I would have skipped the thread entirely.....if you were to leave the hobby forums based simply on the fact I dont like a product then I feel sorry for you. And my opinion is not one of upper deck vs leaf vs ITG I like and support all three companies

Constructive criticism versus destructive criticism, or using tact versus not using tact during a forum debate. Or to put it in terms you might understand; If I called your opinion on this topic 'garbage', or called a card you presented to the forum as 'garbage', I certainly guarantee you would clue in to what I mean. But then again, the way you're deflecting, probably not...
