Merry Christmas to all my fellow HI friends! It's been another fun year of collecting, crossing off cards on the wantlist, and meeting more great members in person on HI! I've enjoyed scrolling through everyone's Top 10 S&T's and finally got the time to put mine together. So let's start with 2 honourable mentions since I had a heck of a time trying to just do 10! These could easily be in the top 10 but I already spent enough time trying to sort through the rankings!

So pumped to see these two get a Cup Dual patch auto card! I was a huge Jagr fan growing up, and often in my early years of minor hockey I would imitate Jagr's salute when I scored. I'm sure I was one of many to copy that celebration lol. Nice to see that both these guys put on a Flames jersey in their careers as well!
And now for the rest ...
10. Backlund 09-10 UD Black Lettermen set
I only owned the K and thought I was content with just the one, but then the whole set showed up on eBay, so that was an easy purchase to make without having to do the work of getting one at a time!
9. Iginla 12-13 SPGU Game Gear /3
Got this one from Al (Uhtred the Viking) when we met up earlier this year. I always enjoy catching up with him and chatting about Iggy cards and making a few trades here and there as well! This one goes nicely with my other two Game Gears I own (09-10 in a Flames uni and 15-16 Aves Stadium Series)
8. Backlund 12-13 Certified Fabric of the Game Rainbow
Really like the shiny look! This set took me a bit over a year to complete, and it wasn't the 1/1 that was the difficult one, it was the prime /25 that kept me waiting. Finally found it on a google search, never imagined that would be where I'd land it! If anyone sees the printing plate I'd be all over that as well!
7. Iginla 15-16 Premier Gear Spectrum /3
I know everyone has their opinions about buttons and all the new mem pieces that cards have these days, but I think the button piece is so cool and I had to have one for my pc!
6. Backlund 09-10 The Cup Dual Auto Shield 1/1 (Stalberg on the back)
This is my first and only Backlund shield, not a huge fan of a random player like Stalberg on the back side, but none the less it's a sweet card!
5. Iginla 12-13 The Cup Limited Logos /50
Always wanted to add an Iggy card with a nice Alberta flag Patch, I have a bunch of Alberta flag Patches but none near as exciting as this LL. This one came all the way from another collector in Russia!
4. Iginla 15-16 The Cup Auto Shield 1/1
This is my third Shield addition to the Iginla collection, and my first Cup auto shield. Love the additional colours from the neckline of the jersey
3. Kipper Presidents Choice One of a Kind 1/1
It's been very exciting seeing Dr. Price come back in the game (see what I did there). Love this glove piece of Kipper!
2. Backlund Game Used Stick Autographed in Person
So I bought a Backlund Game used stick at the Saddledome a bit over a year ago. I always had in my mind that I wanted to get it signed by him somehow. Finally the opportunity came a couple months ago when Source for Sports in Calgary announced a Mikael Backlund signing session. So I made the drive from Red Deer to Calgary on icy conditions (yeah I'm a dummmy) just to get the stick signed. It was great to meet him and pretty exciting to finally get that stick signed!
1. Iginla Presidents Choice Stickhandle 1/1
And for the big number one! I already posted about this one earlier in the year, but it's still worthy of a second number one placement. I got in touch with Dr. Price and asked if he by chance had an Iggy stick in his mem stock, and if he would be able to put together an Iggy Stickhandle. Couldn't believe it when he said he was about to make one and that he would hold it for me. I've never been able to pull in an Iginla stick nameplate so this one the big one that I had to have for my pc. What a great looking card too!
