FRAMEWORTH Mystery Autographed Jersey

Good afternoon all, hope your all enjoying your weekend.

So I stumbled across these FRAMEWORTH Mystery Boxes a couple of weeks ago on eBay. It caught my interest so I decided to check it out. Limited Edition, only 300 mystery boxes with names like Orr, Gretzky, Crosby, McDavid, etc...as examples of what you might get. $199.00 plus approx. $30.00 in shipping.

So I call a friend of mine that might be interested as well. I give him the, "If you buy one, I'll buy one as well". So we both hit the Buy It Now button. My buddies comes in and he calls me when he opens it...Norris Trophy Winning Defenceman from the Tampa Lightning, Victor Hedman. Not too shabby in my opinion.
Mine arrives and I'm pretty stoked to open it...I open the box and see this:

I'm thinking/hoping - Leetch? Messier? Jagr? Esposito? Nope....

Bob Nevin.
Oh well...you win some, sometimes you get Bob Nevin.

Don't be sorry. It was a gamble that didn't pay off!! I have to laugh at myself over this one!!

Just to clarify, I wasn't laughing at you...I was laughing at the packaging and opening that up and seeing the "C" and (I know I) would IMMEDIATELY think "GRETZKY!". Flipping that over and seeing Nevin's name would make me take that down to the Goodwill and just throw it at them from my car.

Completely understand. Didn't take it as laughing at me. I keep chuckling from your original comment. My wife keeps asking, "what's so funny?" I just respond with, "I'm sorry that I laughed!!" Your comment has been keeping me laughing at the situation!! I like your idea of tossing it to the goodwill. I coach my sons pre-novice hockey team and might end up wearing it on the ice for practices!!

There’s a few pages that do group breaks on these. They’re fun to watch and more times than not, the person does very well.

I've done a couple of Frameworth Mystery boxes, but I've always done the Platinum ones. I've always felt I got good value with what I pulled from them. Sorry about your luck on this one.
