Looks like they must have given up on the last 2, selling 32 of the 34 cards. Missing Messier and Quick. One of my favorite NT subsets and HARD to complete. All open auction. For the record, I do not know the seller even though they're here in SoCal where I live (LA is a big town). But I sure would have liked a shot at a Quick, already have the Kopitar.

Good luck!

I seen it soon as they was posted. when i was searching Shanahan..

I was like ohhh these are going to be fun to watch!

One of the nicest sets EVER made!! I agree...gonna be a blast to watch!! Correct, Quick was never produced with the /10 set.

I forgot to list the Messier when I originally put them up. I had it sitting on my desk while the rest were in a box. I figured if they were sitting in a box this long (figured the Quick is never going to be made at this point), I didn't really need them. For the most part I'm stepping away from the hobby. Just trying to find the one card in my signature. I simply have way too many other things going on right now and honestly I don't like the road the hobby is going down. At some point when things slow down I'll be back to dabble in vintage.

Yeah, I knew it was Bill but I didn't want to namedrop in case he wasn't ok with anyone knowing they were his auctions. He put in a TON of work acquiring all those, impressive stuff. Crosby surpassed Howe, that surprised me a bit.

That really suprised me as well Barrie :0

Thanks to everyone here that bid on this set. It exceeded my expectations for sure, and we will still have one SP left with Messier /5 tonight. Never would I have imaged an Ed Belfour or Vinny Lecavalier going for what they did. It speaks to the quality work that Panini did with this set.

Bill, totally empathize with you on the path the hobby is on, definitely not a good one with regard to hockey. I always enjoy the banter with you, our views align a lot, so that helps, but I hope you stick around the board still and chat, you're a knowledgeable guy! Congrats on all the sales my friend!

Although I don't collect anything modern, I wish I bid on a few myself considering how great these are. Some ended a bit low in my opinion. Amazing set!
