Hello lads!

Past yr I have noticed anything all products with epack has been quite bad. COMC is big reason for that. We get cards so easily from COMC. Outside COMC any product selling good. I´m one of them who sends cards for charities, many cards. COMC is great but e-pack cards sell low and Beckett don´t even list achievement cards or other. I´m really disappointed with e-packs. I quit buying e-packs. I thought I was doing good but no!

Epack and comc are a "race to the bottom". If you aren't the cheapest, you might as well be the most expensive.

agreed. But what about all nice achievement cards like Boeser , 2017-18 Upper Deck game jersey? No mention anywhere. I own his 17-18 UD gameused card . Goes to my PC. Why Beckett ignore almost all e-pack products.

Couldn't tell you. I think those achievement things are gimmicks and I'm not into gimmicks.

Being someone who tried to do all I could to support a LCS with the hobby dollars I had e-pack was just a slap in the face to them. I will pick up various cards that were available only from e-pack on the secondary market but I will never pay for a pack or box one e-pack.

To play devil's advocate, between COMC and SportLots, I have filled out a lot of low-end stuff for my son's Aho and Staal collections that would have cost a ton in shipping if traded or purchased elsewhere.

I agree, I buy a lot of low end commons from Sportlots. But COMC just gets flooded with epack hockey cards. If it was possible on COMC to price cards at $0.01, nearly all of the epack commons and inserts would end up at that price.

Yeah, no problem with COMC but any product that is sold on e-pack isn't worth listing on there unless you have the bigger hits.

I have no issues with COMC or SportLots. I have found they've allowed me to do the same with my PC! The combined shipping is really nice.

The issue is that Upper Deck's partnership w/COMC allows sellers to quickly transfer their cards over there and list (for a lot of sellers) at rock bottom prices with the main goal to increase sales with multiple low dollar amount sales. However, the main problem people have with this is that it makes a lot of ePack hits tank in value completely, even if they are brand new products.

I don't mind if, say, one product a year were "ePack Exclusive" products, because then it makes other breaks more realistic and (hopefully) worthwhile when broken in person and sold on a "normal" secondary market. But when every product has a ePack release and the flood goes straight to COMC, it just makes a lot of collectors wait for the ePack release to pickup cards at really low prices. Great for buyers, but bad for collectors who like to break and overall health of the hobby, in my opinion.

This is why some people don't like the ePack thing, among other reasons.

they are often 1c if you're in resell mode without the added 25c incorporated into the price

Outside e-pack I love COMC because I could buy many cards like baseball, hockey etc with reasonable shipping costs to Finland. Most baseball cards selling on eBay with shipping costs is grazy. I understand most of them have never dealt with european buyers. Therefore I thank you COMC for making this possible. I have bought lots baseball cards there and On ebay I buy hockey cards mostly. But e-pack is out of my game. Spents so much dollars. Yes I admit I was jackass idiot. Bye e-pack! COMC thumbs up with reasonable shipping costs. Here in Finland you cant find any baseball cards at all. COMC is my saviour that I can look for baseball cards. Thank goodness for sake.
