Few packs and some mail

Well I was on the go all of September and found myself near some shops and corner stores carrying cards.
First off was Ultime Sport Collections in Laval, co-owned by George Laraque. After talking for a while I settled on a blaster of Court Kings and 2 packs of 15-16 S2.
Got a nice Olajuwon out of the CK!

Then 2 packs of Platinum and 1 SPA from the new Geek Factory in Montreal yielded a decent Kucherov insert.

The PCs have been super slow this year, so I started a Halak Habs pc I'll show off when I ship my COMC.
Until then here's a 94-95 Petrov sticker and a 2012 russian card

Then a few Selannes have been trickling in. Love those Coast to Coast!

99-00 HoloGrFx Ausome parallel

I usually choose one product to chase some cards every year in a couple breaks so after being ridiculed by OPCP in 17-18, I tried getting that wood carving in Engrained.
No such luck but Arizona was pretty cheap so I was glad to hit this cool Hawerchuk. The black base from ebay.

HoloGrFx is a product we don't talk much about now, but that I enjoyed collecting back in the days. I still have the base set and the set of Gretzky inserts.

Sweet stuff. I have that Selanne as well. Hologrfx was a great set, so shinny and it wasn't well received by a lot of collectors. I remember getting a retail box of 99 football Hologrfx on christmas in 99 and pulling a Peyton Manning auto!! Damn I wish I didn't trade that a few years later.

That's a great pull lol! Looking at the product breakdown it seems quite thin. I was completely out of the hobby at that time so it's interesting to hear how people felt.

Awesome pickups! One of my Zetty PC cards came from Laraque on eBay recently, so cool that he's in the card business.

Love the HoloGrFX and the Line 2 Line as well, I have never seen one of those before.
