Surprising Autograph Sales

Hi all,

Anyone have any surprising autograph sales? Not talking the big names like Sid, 99, McD but the lesser lights.

For me its 2 cards from 10/11 Panini Zenith Behind the Bench. This was a coaches autograph subset. About a year ago sold the Babcock for $250 US and Ron Wilson for $100 US.

Any of the ssps from the brushstrokes brown auto set 2008/09 masterpieces. 300 plus for a phil Esposito is a little overboard........I was the bitter under bidder

off the top of my head, Panini Classics and Panini's Private Signings autographed sets had some wicked rare SSSP's in each, plus there are a ton of set collectors out there trying to hunt them down.

I can't think of any of the player names specifically, but it wouldn't surprise me hearing about some of their sale prices over the years since those sets first dropped.

Those coach cards were super rare and collectible. I'd love to get a Quenneville some day but not for what they go for. Another interesting one is the Kathryn Tappen Voices of the Game auto. That is also a three-figure card.

Nov 02, a Wilson sold for 9.99. And two copies of the Babcock up right now with BIN for 130.00 or less.

Quenneville sold for about $12 US on Nov 10 2019.
