Considering adding new category to my collection.

I’m considering adding unopened old wax packs to my collection. These seem really easy to fake or tamper with so I wanted to get your opinion on this. Anything to look out for when making a purchase of these old packs? Thanks in advance.

I don't know crap about it, but I've seen graded vintage packs for sale on various sites so I would think that might be your most sure bet for being legit.

I wouldn't have the willpower! LOL.

Me neither! Sounds like a great project though. It would be cool to display these pakcs in some way also. Would be cool to look at if you could get a bunch of them together.

I agree, some of the old packs are really neat as well. I just know if it was me I'd be looking at them....with a pair of scissors waiting to cut them open, LOL.

Think it's a great PC idea to the OP though. Sorry I couldn't offer more help.

I’d say the best way to collect vintage packs would be sticking with graded ones.

I love them!

All of mine were either acquired already slabbed or purchased from people I trust and then slabbed.

I recommend only buying slabbed.
