89/90 OPC Vending Case Carnage

Wow!! So many Sakic RCs.

Very cool show. Looks like a lot of fun.

I have a full set that I bought from eBay about 20 years ago. I think it is the only complete set I own.
 
Holy crap on the Sakics!!! Planning to have any graded?

I was looking at a 72/73 Topps Giacomin PSA card once and on the slab label it was marked "Vending" but I've read others say that there is no difference in the cards. Never figured out what, or if any, difference there was between packed out and vending cards.
 
Was that a cut card case? If so, how was the quality out of the box? Those blue corners plus soft card stock, how did they make out?

Asking because I'm looking at a baseball cut card case from the sale time.
 
That’s what I love about OPC vending cases. They changed the wires before cutting the vending cards so often times, you’d get a case of GEM cards.

Yes, all factory cut. Condition was great, aside from some centering and a few cards that kind of got misplaced at one end of the box, it was all good. No decent rookie or stars were ruined. One Sakic had a bit of a funny bend, that was about it. Lots of fun!
 
Is that 26 Sakic rookies? Wow! And I bet that was fun, don’t see breaks like that every day!
