So let me start this with I never set collect....and for this reason!

So back in 08-09 ITG H&P came out and had this set I saw on the sell sheet for How Swede It Is. When I saw the set I was instantly infatuated with it and knew I had to get it.....then i saw the SSP on it.... only 9 total cards made of each duo. Ugh, it was like someone popped my ballon knowing how hard these were going to be to come by.

I decided to move on and figure out what else I wanted...well in 2011 browsing eBay I saw one pop up (Lindberg). Put in a offer and Bam it was mine! Then shortly after that another (Mats Naslund) and another (Foppa)! I got three within months! 50% there. Oh this set is mine!

Then I hit that dreaded PC wall....you know when cards going into safes and never come out!

3 years go by before another that I need is listed....get it! 2015(Stastny), almost 4 years between adding card number 4.

Sundin didnt pop up until December of 2019, 4 years later!!!

Finally this week Marcus Naslund!

11 years to complete a 6 card set! This is huge collecting weight off of my check. I can now stop going show to show to talk to venders about the set only get a the look of good luck. Goodbye to the eBay email that send me every time hedman and itg words were listed. Goodbye to the hopeless feeling that I would never complete this set! With all that there is a chance that I am that I am the only one in the world with this set....which is a pretty cool thought!

With that said...Dr. Price, please try to refrain yourself from making awesome sets that are so damn hard to complete. My collecting sanity really appreciates it!

Without further ado

Great job...and great perseverance!

I've been stuck on needing one card for a complete 2005 subset for a long time. Probably will never see the card, but I have hope....

Congratulations!! I think I might know who just recently pulled that card from a random box of H&P he bought on eBay, stashed in the closet for Christmas, and broke during a moment of weakness one random afternoon....at least I have a hunch!

Glad the card found the exact right home! It was a really sharp card!

Great job, I like that Lindberg piece. Do the backs of the card give any description as to the piece of memorabilia??

It found the perfect collection. It’s been a long time since I geeked out over a card. I was messaging friends saying the search was finally over!

Amazing looking set! I know the feeling (earlier this year I finished off the "Decades" GU set from 11-12 Between The Pipes). Congrats on landing the last one.

My sincere apologies for making this so difficult for you.

I did have fun doing it.

Congratulations.

It was fun. I appreciate the effort and design that went into this set. There were many times I really contemplated giving it up. The players on this list have some many collectors out there that I thought theses were buried in a collection. But I’m glad I can finally put this to bed.

Thanks again for the chase!

Amazing set, congrats! I think the design in beautiful and the swatches even more so; I appreciate the effort of making the cards special by selecting multi color pieces.
