I'm back and what's for dinner? Been absent the last few months, had to refocus some things but I'm back and wanted to start a Klesla ongoing thread versus the periodic updates.

Little background:

Rusty Klesla was the first ever selection (4th overall) of the Columbus Blue Jackets in their inaugural season in 2000-2001. He spent most of that year in Brampton, playing for the Brampton Battalion. Played 8 NHL games that year, recording 2 goals, 6 PIMs, and -1 +/-

Klesla had 53 base, parallel, inserts and 3 auto'd cards released in 00-01.

Thank you. It was a few years after Columbus joined the league, they were playing the Caps and I really liked how he played. Solid checker and not afraid of players.

Really close to closing out this year's total cards, however, there are a couple of 1/1s that will make it tough. Just needing one more GU to finish it out is nice. Yeah, the price disparities between sellers is a little odd. Not sure if its considered poor form to reach out and ask if a seller is willing to go lower on their BIN price.

Having two different BD cards arrive with a crease in the same place kind of sucks. I'll use it as a placeholder for the time being. I've found I enjoy picking up the show stamp cards, they are a fun little extra to my collection. Thank you for looking.

Very cool! I like the Show Stamped cards, as those always get harder to find as the years go by. The oversized Pacific cards are also really neat. Those types of cards that "aren't supposed to" be released are always fun to add to a collection.

I've found I really like going after show stamps too. They are fun little additions. I was a big Pacific fan in the day, so scooping up some of their processing inventory is kind of neat.
