is the whole 1st round in Series 2?

If Bedard is in Series 2 because he needs to play a game, does that mean the entire 1st round will be in Series 2? I know it used to be the 1st pick was in Series 1 but for some reason they changed it up this year.

I would think most players making their debut in October get into Series 2 and the rest from Nov/Dec/Jan get held for Extended.

Yes. They made this announcement a little while back IIRC. Like…march/April?

Not every player in the first round will make the NHL. More than likely there will be fewer than 10 who will. Bedard, Fantilli and Carlsson should be in there. There's also Extended as well so they could push one of them to that release.

Last year only 5 players from the entire draft even played a game, Slavkovsky(39), Wright(8), Jiricek(4) and Kasper(1), Owen Beck(1)

Series 1 will have guys like Knies in it. Similar to the rookies in 23-24 UD MVP.
