I understand that 2023/24 Extended releases this week and it got me to wondering with the Bedard Canvas Young Guns card in the product, what do you think the price will be to buy one?

Wasn't there a mock up of the canvas YG with him holding his regular Young Guns? But the version they are showing now is completely different.

I watched a video on youtube where the Upper Deck employee who was in charge of putting the Extended set together said they have been wanting to do a unique canvas card for some time and with the Bedard craze they thought this was the perfect time to do that, so they had Bedard hold up his young guns and point at it.

For my two cents, I would have preferred a different picture on the canvas young guns and if that is the picture on the canvas card, I will not be spending a lot of money trying to pull the card. I will buy a box or two and if not pulled just wait it out and pick up one up on eBay once the price drops to a level I will be willing to pay.

This is the picture of the card from Steel City sell sheet:

Wasn't a mock up. Billy Celio has been on a few different podcasts talking about the card - they wanted to do something different with it and this is the image they decided to go with. Connor holding a copy of his Young Gun. It's in their product video on their Facebook page.

I guess it may keep some people from buying it because it really is kind of bland to my eyes... but I think with the amount of money people have dumped into Bedard cards already, having one with less eye appeal that people may not buy isn't a bad idea.
