Poll Time...wut To Break Now...or Hold Off....

I'm going to crack a case or 2 of UD2 in the next week or so...my question to you all is simple....

Do I just

a.) crack a couple,
b.) crack 1 and also get a Case of 05/06 UD2 (price seems rigth)..
c.) or do I just wait until something else comes out and only crack 1?
d.) just wait

I will be just cracking and selling most anyways, dont usually keep much...just like the busting and selling process personally... I only usually keep Rarer cards and nice Lemieux, Gretzky, Orr etc...

The main attraction for UD2 for me is the Pressplates and the Malkin's among others...plus all of the Patches and ROokie Jerseys etc...seems like a good product.

IMO, the value just isn't there in UD II, unless you hit a really good case hit.

I think just 1 case of 06/07 will be where I will probably head to.

I picked the case of 05-06 and 06-07 option, but what would really be good IMO would be just getting 2 cases of 05-06 UD2. More value with all the pressplates, Ovechkin YG's, and Rookie Ink's available.

Matt, Bust 1 case and wait off for another product. On ebay it wont be as easy for you to sell the 05-06 stuff as people are mainly looking for the new stuff.

Went for the Hot Prospects...$550 from Pittsburgh Wholesale.... picked up a case of 01/02 BAP Sig Series a year and a half ago (12 box case) for $310.00... I like gettin the good prices, had some good luck from these guys.

Point taken, however I don't have as much hate towards the company as a lot of other people do. I think in the end I will limit my self to the cheaper case of Hot Prospects and maybe hit a box or 2 of Series 2.

Other than that, those will most likely be the only breaks I do before summer. I def. enjoy cracking but I'd rather toss the majority of the cash into an Investment and set myself up later in life...

(Here's hoping the investing world continues from its blazing performance over the last couple of years )

I will leave the thread with one last comment...

1st off, the topic I was trying to only discuss was the case breaking issue...I believe my choice of the Hot Prospects and a couple boxes of UD will satisfy my urge to bust for now... I may venture into some ITG cards later on (thanks for the suggestion). I should have the case of Hot Prospects in next week and I will do a live break on the boards the day I recieve (permitting I get them before or after Wednesday of next week...have a midterm on Thursday.

With that being said thanks for all the input I have recieved about which product to buy, it actually helped to save some cash lol...and make a better decision in my eyes..


To conclude, I don't want to get into a shouting match, I just want to end our little feud with getting a few things off my chest. Steve...I respect that you like the english language to be articulated and written in "proper form", fair enough...however, with that being said I think you (and I truthfully mean this in the most honest and non-arrogant way) should just take this kind of thing with a grain of salt. For me personally there are 2 forms of english, the proper traditional sense and the other is the internet form. If I choose to write "what as; wut" I don't think I should be ridiculed.
There aren't many instances where I use the abbrevated form of words, but, if Im just on the net surfing, talking to friends or writting on a chat board I tend to use these forms of words every now and then (I only talk of this chat board and the other...but even so)...

All Im saying is dont call me an idiot (reference to the dictionary) and just let things go sometimes.
