Hi all--

Been awhile since I've posted, maybe because I haven't bought much hockey recently. The bug came back with two decent tins of the Cup...but that's not what I'm here for.

Got a package for Diamond Club members. At first glance there were some promo cards (from Sportsfest and a Toronto Expo pack with two Hot Prospects cards) and a dual auto from the Hawaii Expo--a nice card to get for free. So I put it in the drawer and went back to work.

Later on I open the TE 'pack', and lo and behold...

Whew. Really nice way to start off the week.

Good luck on all your breaks!

wow low print run...sweet Gretz

another member in the diamond club received an Orr and Yastrzemski duo auto which is so cool in itself too. If I had to pick....I wouldn't know what to do. They are both awesome.

Enjoy and congrats!

Nice to see some familiar faces on!

That Orr/Yaz is pretty sweet. I got Alex Smith/Lincecum. And I really can't complain.

Very nice!!! Mine were Michalek #/10 and the Dual was Kevin Durant/Felix Hernandez. No Gretz, but I was pretty pleased. Mike

Beautiful Gretzky. Any word on when UD will be starting the Cubic Zirconia Club? I'm pretty sure they;ll let me in that.

As long as I get my cases from distributors for free....haha. The bent over comment was sarcastic after reading about some of the sweet pulls so far. The freebies are just a bonus anyways, I don't take it too seriously.

You knew what my response would be anyways right? ;) Just another fine example of UD picking and choosing who they cater to while others who spend money on their products are treated, well, you know..........

This is no different than any other business....they treat their top buyers the best.

If you are buying direct sure, but they don't see a dime more then what they sell to the dealers/distributors for no matter who buys it in the end. Does it really matter if I spend $10,000 or $100,000 a year on UD products? Bottom line is all "customers" should be treated the same, especially when it comes to Customer Service issues. Honestly, I couldn't care less if they sent their "favorites" a Babe Ruth autograph once a year, but they tend to cater to certain people in all aspects not just freebies, which to me is wrong and says a lot about them as a company.

You forgot one exception, Tony. The DC'ers aren't visibly bashing UD products on message boards all the time...haha. So it's easier for them to pick and choose who to cater to ;)

I agree, however, if they treated everyone the same maybe they wouldn't get bashed. Touche. :D

The way they have treated me the last few years, it would take a lot more then an autograph or two to buy me off and become a "follower" if you will. All I ask is if they create a problem for the collectors, address it reasonably and offer a fair solution. Don't just hide the problem and not do anything about it in the hopes that the customer will get fed up and just say "forget it".

I apologize Bobby J for turning the tide of your post, I won't respond in here anymore, sorry for ruining your post.
