I wouldn't expect more than 40 since Malkin is stayin in the RSL next season so it wont be his rookie card; more than likely Ryan Whitney

Excuse me for butting in here, but only $40 BV? The card has been selling for about that or more! No way does it only have a BV of $40. $100 or more sounds about right IMO.

I dont think anyone is saying the BV is $40, only that since Malkin is now clearly staying in the RSL for the next season, the card wont be his rookie and subsequently will come down in price. Personally I think $40 is fair, although I dont know what the print run is of these cards.

Well, when people offer $40 trade value for a card, that usually means that they are saying that the BV is $40. Also, it wasn't going to be his RC either way, because they are inserts with the RR prefix, as in previous years. That being said, if it's not going to be Malkin, why are they still going for rediculous prices on ebay?
