05/06 the Cup Guaranteed Foam Tin

LOL
The difference in weight would be neglible!! we are talking like a few grams at best!!! then there could be extra packaging on each tin..imperfections....not a good way to determine.

"here's a box of cards worth about $500 retail that contains a card at the very least worth double that so instead of opening it up and flipping that card for 1, 2, even 3 thousand dollars, I'll just sell it for $1000 to you! I also have the Golden Gate Bridge up for sale if you're interested!"

A pack searcher who openly admits to weighing his packs. Sure it's a high end product but how is this different from finding the jersey cards in stuff like ultra.

I am not supporting this auction, or the concept of pack searching.

But don't be so naive to believe the difference in weight is negligible; I have yet to bust a box of anything that you can't weight out some difference.

Basic 40$ digital scales to one decimal point can easily detect differences. That's low end, garbage scales. Some nice digi's would make the difference even more distinguishable.

My thoughts concerning it would be that it's been opened, searched, and resealed. Trust me if people out there are swapping in and out patches, pack searching and resealing is more than readily done with the correct pools. i've always been under the impression that if someone is willing to weigh out packs to sell the hot ones, they'll probably the same people willing to open the packs to make sure that it's not a huge hit inside.
