07-08 German DEL Question

Hopefully one of our members in Germany can help out with this.

I'm just looking to find out exactly how the press plates in the new 07-08 Series 2 of the German DEL product work.

It appears that there's fronts and backs. However, is there just one version of each, or are there four colors? Also, are they only base set cards, or are they inserts as well?

That, plus any other information, would be a huge help. Thanks!

you are right...
- the front and back of the baseset were in the 07-08 series 2

- only one version (cyan) is available

- the pressplates are selling between 60€ - 100€ (about $90-$150)

But there is already a new series out now (the 4th series this season + 2 series of the final teams last year = 6 )
it's called the
07-08 professional series
included are these cards:
- basecards 07-08
- Playmaker 1 : 8
- Skills Competion 1:16
- Championset 2008 Adler Mannheim 1 : 18
- Masked-Marvels 1 : 27
- Cupwinner Adler Mannheim 2007 1 : 35
- Champion Adler Mannheim 2007 1 : 35
- Double-Pack 1 : 38
- Allstars 2006 (Jerseycards) 1 : 66
(so all cards of the other 07-08 products, except the "baseset pressplatets")

New are:
- Double Pack Insert Parallel /50
- Signature of Numbers (same 12 signature cards as in the 2 series, but now the cards are not limited to /169, but to the Jersey number of each player)
- insert pressplates (also front and back and only one version cyan, i guess)

this should be the german high end product for this season (price for one box 90€ = about $130) but many german collecors are not satisfied with the way city press (the card producer) works, so i don't think, that many of these box will be sold and so it will be hard to get these "insert pressplates"

Heh, there's the Walker. Seeing it on ebay sparked my interest. I collect Walker and it's going to be tough as heck to be the winning bidder on it!

Thanks for the info so far. So, for the Professional Series, is it basically a box set with all the other cards, but with some extra inserts as well?

Yeah, all other cards are included with some better odds then before!
