07-08 OPC anyone break a Case?

Got a card show this weekend and usually like to break something before the show. I plan on getting a case of UDs2 and maybe SP authentic, just debating on doing a case of OPC also.

I was wondering apx how many complete base sets (1-500) I should expect from a case?

Its a 12 box case. I think 36 packs per box and 6 cards per pack. with 1 SP per pack that would be around 2160 base cards... so does 4 sets seem resonable for those who busted a case? Should I expect at least one set of the rookies?

I busted 8 cases. You should be able to come pretty close to 2 complete sets with rookies per case. I would be interested in any autos you pull.

I bought a case and had 2 base sets and I was more than half way to a third. I rec'd almost one of each of the insert sets. As for rookies, I rec'd one complete set and had quite a few doubles.

It was my favourite break of the year... loved the old OPC cards which were inserted and got a Hawerchuk auto'd RC too. Very cool.

I broke 3 cases, rookies broke well in all 3, but the base broke
really bad. Where you have enough for about 4 base sets (1-500)
in each case, I barely got 2 per case.

lol thats what all my sorting boxes are for...I know it takes a while to break and sort... but thats half the fun... Maybe its a good thing that my trash pick up was changed last week, now its friday mornings...

Echo Ferris - it takes a long time. The cards are on stock similar to that used for ITG's 03-04 Original 6 release. Cards don't handle well, and it's time consuming.

I do have some OPC cards already...but sorting is just.....sort by 100's then sort by 10's then make sets.......I guess i will have to see...

of 2 cases, we got 3 complete 1-600 and 2 more 1-500 plus a TON of extras
