Any guesses on how many of these there might be? I know Joel Carry bought one. Just wondering how many other copies have surfaced.

I'm hoping for at least one more to surface, I'd hate to get a hold of 34/35 and never be able to finish the set. :|

The third one is mine :D. I also won a Gretzky on sunday! They seem pretty damn rare, but I have no idea exactly how many there are. It seems the ratio of the rookies to the retired/big name players seems like 10 to 1 or something though! lol.

of course 2 of the 3 owners would be on this site. it is Hobby Insider after all. :)

Haha good point! I was thinking about how I'm probably bidding against H.I members for these cards, and how we're just raising the prices for each other. But hey I guess that's the point of an auction! lol

I also debated pulling the trigger on that one. Now I have to hope another shows up or I have to pay out the nose to hopefully get one here. :(

Personally, I'd wait until the redeemed copies hit the market. Then, you might be surprised how many copies there actually are. Plus, they'd most likely hit the market (eBay) at the same time, thus giving you multiple chances to get one at the price you want to pay. Just because the redemption cards are not hitting eBay does not mean people aren't pulling them. They can simply be redeeming the card themselves.

True enough. I'd already decided to do the set before I saw how few Roy redemptions had been put up for sale. Then I pulled the Gretzky redemptions last weekend, which pretty much sealed the deal for me, and I'm in to deep to give up if there's only just 4 or 5 Roy autos. I'd bet we'll see several more redemptions on eBay before they go live, but I've been surprised before...
