09/10 UD Cup thickness

hmm, I just bought some cup cards from this year and noticed everything is thicker. I sold some cup cards from past years and wanted to reuse my current screwdowns but nope they will not fit. The cards are cool and all, but the cards are just way too thick in my opinion! :|

Yes, they are slightly thicker...forces you to use the 180 pt magnetic holders. Grrrrrrrr :foottap:

I think the only cards thinner are the Black 1/1 parallels. Funny since prior years were massively thick. Definitely makes shipping them more difficult.

Do we really need 180PT base cards?

They're too thin for 180pt though. 150pt would be good but good luck find something that size.

It would be easier if UD wasn't stupid and made the cards to fit 130pt holders.

Actually the Draft boards are considerably thinner this year. Last year they had to be put into the ones that Seanerster manufactures and this year they fit into the 130 pt holders! I was actually disappointed to see them this much thinner!

The new tribute rookie cards fit ok in the 130's.

some fit in the 130 pt and some only fit in the 180...I know for a fact that the enshrinements card I bought needed a 180 the rest seemed to fit fine in the 130 pt holders. The only diff is the cards are right up against the folder if you put them in the 130.

Interesting. I didn't need any draft boards in this year's cup but I was a bit baffled as to why the first offerings had to be so thick.

i have an enshrinements auto and a stanley cup signatures auto (dual auto). would i need to order the 180's for those? i still have them in the top loaders they shipped in . but im looking to through them up on my shelf in one touch magnetics

I'm sure you have some 130pts that are housing other cards. See if they fit.

I only had 2 cards that didn't like 130pt holders. One was my Gillies POE and the other was one of my Setoguchi Cup Foundations.

enshrinements need 180's trust me...really odd as they seem to be the only ones that really need to be put in the 180's. My Richards POE fit in the 130 fine...thats weird.

I have a Stanley Cup Signature /50 of Datsyuk incoming.. will it fit in a 130pt or i have to buy a 180pt ??
