I don't usually break baseball, but I've busted one Topps Sterling every year since 2007. I've had good luck with Sterling over the years (07 A Rod 3x relic/auto, 08 Honus Wagner 4x relic, 09 Duke Snider 4x relic/auto) so I was looking forward to this year's stuff.
Sadly, I missed the first 6 cases they got in (it sold QUICK, with only 2 cases being packed out), but they had 2 boxes left when I stopped by the shop yesterday. I almost missed my shot at those because a guy walked in behind me and snagged the one I didn't get (he later said he'd have busted both of them).
We both cracked the boxes in the shop and his theme was All Star Game MVPs, with the hit being a Roberto Alomar 5 relic/auto 1/1.
The theme of my box was 95+ MPH Throwers. Here's what I pulled:
Mystery Pack - Nolan Ryan white parallel #/50
Base - Nolan Ryan, Tim Lincecum and CC Sabathia
1st Hit - Tim Lincecum 6 Relic (all bat pieces) 25/25
Bonus Hit - Willie Stargell manufactured logoman relic 9/50
If you've followed any breaks of this stuff, you know that the manufactured logoman cards accompany a redemption, and my box was no different.

Wow!!! This is my first Strasburg and it couldn't have come from a better product, IMHO! I think I got the better of the two boxes, although the other one was pretty sweet, too.
Anyway, that's my break...thanks for reading to the end, nothing is FS/FT (Strasburg has been redeemed and the rest will be floating on the 'Bay) and, as always, comments are welcome! :beer:
