UFC Finest has been my favorite set year in, year out since it released a couple years back. I've always busted a few boxes, but never touched cases. I've only ever busted one case anyway, which was a 20 boxer of Between the Pipes about 3 1/2 years ago. Still, I figured I'd be doing a box or two (or 4) when Finest came out.
Then along came John (Fighthobby) and offered cases $100 below any case price I'd received...and so I had to do it. I grabbed 2 cases and awaited release day...and it came and went, and no cases. There was a delay in shipping, and then John had to get them shipped to me from a different distributor...and believe me, when you see this case? It was worth it.
I'm about 75% of the way through the other case, and it's nothing compared to this one. I've been slowly getting that case in bits and pieces from my aunt's condo in the States. I decided to take this case to the big show in Langley today and bust in the company of the gang. Glad I did because this was kind of a crazy case.
But first? The first box sucked - Punkass Finest Fans auto, and a BARELY 2 color Brian Stann auto relic. The best card was probably a Rashad Evans Gold Mat /88 (gone) - That box also had a Rampage mat /188 which I gave to my buddy JZ's nephew. I swear I've pulled like 3 of those already anyway, so losing one isn't the end of the world
So in essence, it was a 7 box magic case. Every box had a big hit after that, and every box had an Octofractor.
I should add, there were no Ronda, GSP or Jon Jones autos in this case...so you won't see any of those.

I pulled the booklet out of the 2nd box and I figured that was the case card and that it was going downhill from there....nope.

1st Star: Grill Gear Relic - Chad Mendes
Jon (Bebop/12buckmafia) called it when I saw the blue redemption card in box 6. He said "I bet it's a Grill Gear with the way your case is going so far" and I disagreed, thinking it couldn't have been....but there you have it. The craziest box had to be box 3 - It contained the Rory, the Silva Auto and one of the Shogun Octos.
