That should increase the # of junk listings 100fold. It's gonna make it tough to weed thru the garbage to find some decent deals now.

"From March 25 through March 31, sellers who list Auction-style item(s) with a starting price between $0.01 and $0.99, have Shipping charges specified and have either a Detailed Seller Ratings (DSR) rating of 4.5 or higher or no DSR rating, will pay a 1¢ Insertion Fee per item listed. Ugh...when will US sellers get these nice rates? But how many sellers will actually list their cards between .01 and .99? Most sellers that take advantage of the cheap listing fees are ones that put high fixed price items up hoping for nice offers.

That is a REALLY good question since they are using the DSRs for this promo as well.

I know that I have not had any success listing at anything under $1.00....I tried listing a few things right after the switch and had forgotten to change the min. bid....ebay would not let it go any further until I corrected it to meet the $1 minimum....

I can't access ebay here at work so i guess I'll have to research it once I get home!

When was that Heidi? I have some auctions on the go right now that we started at .99 and they were alright - no issues but that was about 5-6 days ago.

I have had this issue since they switched over.

I listed at $0.99 four days ago with no problems. I thought the $1.00 minimum was for store items at a fixed price.

Perhaps I misread things....but I seriously thought that it applied to auctions as well....

I will test it out again tonight! Ever since I had the issue the first time, I did not give much thought to it and just bumped it up to $1.00. I will check it out tonight!!!

I believe that Dave and Trish are correct. I remember now that the $1 minimum was originally for store items.

Hmm...Just paid all my eBay fees for the past month...So I guess it's time to list more tomorrow. I have no DSR rating, yet atleast, so I guess this applies to me?
