Yes, Preview Pictures of SPGame Used before The Cup is out.

Pretty much all I can say is, Wow. These look pretty good so far. I love the design for pretty much most of them. Do hope they change Phaneuf into a Leafs uni though.

Meh, same ol' stuff really, although the Career Legacy cards would be an impressive accomplishment for UD. The real question is: How many -Marks subsets do they need!?

And here I was thinking Ray Bourque was one of the greatest defensemen in the history of the game. I'm some glad UD was able to set me straight and make me realize that I was delusional for those 20 years and he actually played right wing.

A for effort on the Championship Marks, will be interesting to see how the checklist looks. If Toews is the only one with the Cup patch, not sure if I like the idea.

B+ on the rookies, finally a design that actually makes them look nice enough to where they sell for more then 25 cents each.

A/D on the Career Legacy cards. I give them an A for coming up with a different set for SPGU. But a D for effort on the design. Can you say rehashed Property Of design?

C on the Faceoffs card, I like the idea but pretty bland design.

F- on the Retro Marks for 2 reasons. 1, take a look at the Championship Marks, they look so much more appealing with a picture of the player, and the Cup also adds to the eye appeal. 2, dang you UD. I always said if they ever came up with an Orr card autographed with the Hawks logo, I'm all in. My wallet just coughed up some dust.

Overall I give them a D-, only because they should not be slinging 10/11 SPGU when the most sought after 09/10 product still hasnt been released yet.

Like the look of the those (mistakes aside). Championship cards look great. Like 'em alot.

A couple thoughts:

-I know most people could care less about the base cards in SPGU, but I'm loving the look of those.

-While I don't fully see the need for a separate subset for Retro Marks, I think the Championship Marks is a great idea. I love the idea of being able to combine a few of your favorite players in one unified display like that. I hope they do some past champions too though, and not just the 09-10 Blackhawks. Either way, it's a good idea that could be included every year.

Now that auto'd letters can only be found (from UD) in SPGU I think the cards are going to be really hunted for. The Championship is a great concept and if they get enough players signing there can be some really good groups for collectors to build. Hopefully it isn't just the five players shown.

While I have likely the biggest hate on for SPGU on HI, I'll admit the mockups look nicer than past years.
