Well making room and i could not give these base cards away, so add 50,000 cards trashed. This may bring my total to around 100,000 base cards trashed this year


What do you do with your piles of base cards?????

Theres a buyer, but he only buys specific players, a large list though and pays decently considering they're only base cards, plus he pays the shipping too!

kj if you seriously want to dump cards....i will give some of em to the kids i teach in the inner city. most are interested in basketball but if i just hand em out for free would not matter to them...just an idea. Another one of my friends did was give em to salvation army in which he then wrote it off his taxes, not much but got a little out of em.... jason

http://www.assureacure.com/ I donated about 100,000 cards to them about three years back. I also find a lot of them and send them to people who sign. I then give them to my girlfriend who is in school to become a teacher and currently is working in an inner-city school where the kids don't have much at all. It works out pretty well, and I claim whatever I donate on my taxes...

do maybe just a thread that people can post on how many they send and setting a goal of 1 million cards sent.. We could contact the org and let them know what we are doing and what we are all about--just an idea--kj

let me ask a few questions for myself and maybe others interested in donating some common cards.
1. which organization are we thinking of donating cards to?
2. would each donating member send their own cards?

How many people are interested in donating cards for a good cause? I will make another post to see if we can gain some interest in donating commons. If it looks like a go then I can sticky it and we can see if we can get to 1,000,000 donated cards.
