Whirlwind last couple weeks. We lost our cat Molly to a sudden, and unpreventable heart attack (it runs in her lineage and got her brother and a couple other family members unfortunately.) It's crazy thinking I've been friends with some of you long enough that you remember when we got her, and again now that's passed away. Also got the worst flu I've had since I was in my teens which saddled me out of action for 3 days. I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but considering I've had 1 sick day in the last 12 years, it felt like an eternity.
But...as many of you are aware, I got married about a week and a half ago. I stayed sober through the whole thing so I could remember the whole night, and I dare say that it was a fantastic night for myself, Laura, family and friends. She looked stunning, and the place looked amazing.
A few weeks ago, the man himself Kev Mitch got me in the mood to bust some Canadiana, and much to my surprise, he texted me a week or so ago to notify me he had a 20 box case on the way, and I was welcome to some of it. I had put a bit of cash aside to buy myself some as a little wedding gift, and then got the news that I was being asked to take an expanded role with Best Buy Canada, which also meant a few more bucks in the ol' pocket. That in mind, I grabbed half the 20 box case from Kevin, and had a midnight rip party with my other cat Desmond in tow. Probably not a good idea, since the case was pretty damn fun, and all I wanted to do was bust more.
