10 Worst Playoff Goals

Have not looked at the video - but I have to imagine that Dan Cloutier's brain-fart on Lidstrom's shot from center ice with his team up 2-0 is 1st or 2nd!!!!!

As bad as the Cloutier goal was - it wasn't the worst of all time - and there are few that were as bitter as I when it went in.

Never cared too much for Roy so the ole' Statue of Liberty play at #3 still makes me laugh.

Poor Steve Smith, probably the biggest thing he's remembered for. I know I say a player pulled a Smith whenever they knock it in their own net.

The goal itself isn't the worst of all time but I think that the fact that it was a series changer brings that goal up the list.

Another goal that should have been on the list was Ty Conklin's mistake. Game 1 of the 05/06 Stanley Cup finals, 3-3 in the final minute of the 3rd and Conklin and Smith has a miscommunication and leads to the gwg.

its amazing how many of those the Wings are involved in. I personally would have added Couture's game 3 goal into the top 10- like Ray Ferraro said it was an awful stinky smelly goal.

I watched the video again, and am not sure why the goal from this year is in? Was it Couture? I mean it squeaked in, but it wasnt a "bad" goal. Nor was it a fluke.

Maybe if Cout passed it, and the puck never left the ice, but he was firing it at the net and found a hole.

Anyone find a link for the "top" ten playoff goals? Would be nice to relive some of those (ahem Matteau...) lol
