10 year old Panini Redemption replacements

I submitted a redemption almost 10 years ago to Panini for a 2013-14 National Treasures - Cherry's Treasures Nathan MacKinnon/Don Cherry autograph /99. Needless to say, it never got fulfilled since that was their last hockey product. To my surprise, they actually sent me some replacements today (after years of asking). While I still would have preferred a Mac auto, at least I got something. How do you think I did?

Worse than nothing, they could have sent me a Galchenyuk or Yakupov who were 2 of the bigger rookie hits in National Treasures! What a difference 10 years makes ... back before Don Cherry got cancelled!

I just got three cards for a Panini redemption last week - I had no idea that I still had an "active" redemption with them and I have zero idea what it was for (can't have been too significant if I can't remember it) but let's just say that my return doesn't come anywhere near yours:

Agree that your original redemption would have been sweet, but you did A-OK on the replacement.

I also had 10 year old redemptions fulfilled....what a nice surprise...didn't get anything like Selanne or Datsyuk but a few decent autos. They actually emailed me a few times to ensure they were sending to the correct addy!

I just received notice today from Panini that replacement items are being shipped in place of a 10 year old redemption. Original card was a 2013-14 Playbook Rookie Jersey Auto /199 of Vladimir Tarasenko. Email states they are shipping the following:

I am getting a redemption for the Alex Tanguay City Lights AU that was never produced. Scared to think how poor my replacements are going to be, Tanguay isn't exactly a big name, but that autograph is seriously short printed. I only ever saw one redemption card surface, and it is the one that I bought. I probably paid way more than "BV" when it finally saw the light of day.

Hope they're better replacements than what I got for my 2012-13 Classics Signatures Originals Autograph Phil Esposito /25. They deemed that this was a lower end card unworthy of a replacement and gave me about $5 worth of points to the Panini Rewards store. Of course, no response to any of my attempts to reach out to them on this.

Redemption arrived today, and I got 2 cards that would go in my $1.00ea or 6/$5.00 box.

Seriously, one of the players I have NEVER heard of.

The fact that they actually felt the need to FedEx $2.00 worth of cards and have me sign for it is embarassing.

**EDIT** Google tells me that Broll played 5 NHL games in his career with 1 point and is now retired and a firefighter in Ontario.

My redemptions came in for a Tarasenko Rookie Anthology Jersey Auto /199. That's the last hockey redemption I have with them. They put 3 of them in one touches to boot.

I don't think I did too bad. 3/4 are still playing in the NHL.

Zach Hill is gold /25. John Merill is Green 5/5. Seth Jones Slide Show Auto is my favorite 8/20.
