10th Anniversary of the best set EVER! Better beleaf it!!

February 12, 2004. One of the last fully licensed sets produced by ITG was released. An end of an era before the infamous Monopoly. Hopefully we will see a licensed follow-up set within the next 10 years....

I have a slight OCD focus on this set. Enjoy my spoils -- I do.

So ends the officially released master set. The following is a pipe dream -- 2004 Spring Expo stamped cards. Base /10 and GU 1/1!

If you made it this far, you may be wondering what more is there to get? Here is my wish list of items that exist and some that may not...

1) More Expo Stamped cards! There are National stamped cards too, but I have to draw the line somewhere!!
2) A multi-colour swatched version of the Sakic Shooters. If non-Leafs must be in the set, I want the nicest looking cards as possible.
3) There may be another sell sheet showing all 6 sets.
4) An uncut sheet of the base set.

Thanks for taking me down Memory Lane.

By the way, it was the same designer that did this product that still works for us today, however, we had a license then and he was not restricted in his designs.

His talent is the same. The rules have changed.

Other than it being the Leafs (sorry, had to, I'm a B's fan!) ... that's one hell of a set. I'm not big on unlicensed stuff, which is why I've not picked up any ITG stuff since I got into hockey about 5-6 years ago. But it definitely goes to show that with a license, they can put out a tremendous set that frankly, neither UD nor Panini can come close to. What I wouldn't give for a Bruins style set like that. 10 years later, that set definitely still holds its own.
