at 80 this looks like it could be some real value hit wise, although the hits may be watered down.

they look really cool regardless,

this is where select should have been

C'mon...did you think I'd do an EPIX set without a Lindros? ;)

And yes, there are hot boxes:

5 boxes per case will have at least 5 hits
2 boxes per case will have at least 6 hits

Every box has at least one auto jersey rookie.

On average find these every case:

At least one Green auto, mem or autograph mem hit (#'d 5 or less)
At least one Slideshow insert (#'d 100 or less)
At least 4 Platinum Mirror Parallels (#'d 25 or less)
At least 4 Clear Cloth jerseys (#'d 100 or less)
At least 1 Clear Cloth Prime or Patch parallel (#'d 25 or less)
At least 1 EPIX memorabilia card
At least 6 Prime/Patch memorabilia variations including Rookie Autos

4 packs per box. Is it worth $20/pack? Ouch. This should be a $40-$50 product, not $80.

Technically this product is more expensive than Select (by the pack)

There are products that release with 4-6 jerseys/autos per box at $50 a box?

Would love to know which ones.

And the jerseys/autos are all stars or top rookies?

SPGU has lots of jerseys/autos and is $20 a pack. Not a lot of fanfare over pulling a jersey from there.

I guess it depends on how big the hits are. If I'm spending $80 (which I won't be) and pulling 4 jerseys, ya, I won't be impressed.

I can't say that I disagree with Ferris thus far. In that sense, this is a successful spiritual successor (say that three times fast!) to the original Totally Certified - expensive packs, many of which may provide questionable value.

I will also add my voice to the chorus of approval for the Epix.

Some of the cards look really cool. I will reserve my overall feelings until I see the first few case breaks. I hope this is not another $1 GU product.

Looks pretty bland to be honest, I was hoping something a little different than what we've seen from Certified the last couple of years but it looks pretty similar despite the name change

Are we taking wagers that there will be a "Totally Certified" promotion to follow? You know, to "add" value?

Aren't all the products these days $1 gu products? :duh:

The epix green moment quad memorabilia cards look really cool, I like the look of most of the stuff. The platinum golds are pretty sharp.

EPICally ugly, that's about it. Other than the green foiled cards, I don't see a single attractive card in the lot. Mind you, I haven't liked any of the Panini products since 10-11, although I really dug this years Dominion.
