So I've taken care of multiple Young Gun sets and almost got all my Rangers PC cards from Series 2, so I'm all but done with Series 2 now.

Not really a huge SPx fan, wasn't blow away by Trilogy, got mostly blown by SPGU (worst 2 boxes ever) and I see Upper Deck Ice hanging out there...

Is Upper Deck ice going to be a huge product for 149 a box?

I can only imagine those Ice Premiere Rookies /99 are going to be in the $$$$ once they start getting pulled.

McDavid-- 3,500?
Panarin---1,000?
Eichel----2,000?
Larkin---1,000?

If you had the funds would you pop a case of this and go for a big rookie or rookie patch auto or other big hit?

I would for sure. Ice is usually a nice product, but usually a hit or miss break, (like pretty much everything this year so far). If I were gonna bust ice I would do it by the case!

You have to remember that this will be (arguably) Eichel's best "True" RC this year. Might fetch some big bucks.

Even though the Cup RC won't have an auto, that will still be classified as his best RC, hands down. The Ice will be up there no doubt, but if you look at the market for those cards, it is considerably softer than it was at one point. I figure right around the $500 mark for the Eichel, with a couple fluctuations higher or lower.

Not to say that it will definitely happen, but that's my theory.

Im hoping Larkin doesnt break 400-500, based from his other cards that are lower numbered like SPGU /71 I dont think it will.

It would be interesting to see how the Black Diamond RC's /99 stack up to the Ice /99.
Close to the same I think.

McDavid Ice /99 will break through the $5000 level very quickly. I will not be surprised if a few of them even hit $7500.

Eichel's Ice will be his best rookie only if his Cup is not /99. If his Cup is not /99, then his Ice will easily break through $2500-$3000. Which it might even if his Cup is /99.

Yep, quoting myself here...

Just want to add that I think the first few Eichel's will break through the $2K level and will then settle under $2000 as Ultimate and Cup come out. Of course his play early next season will have a huge impact one way or the other.

What do you think about Larkin/Panarin?

I think the first few will break $500 quite easily. I will speculate that out of the gate Panarins do $500-$700 and Larkins do $600-$1000.

So will you have a legit chance at a Rookie /99 in the 8-box cases or will you be more or less guaranteed one in the 16-box cases... much like how the Cup rookie work, 3-tin cases not many rookies /99, many more from 6-tin cases....

Are you sure you're not talking about Cup /99 at these prices??

No, I'm talking Ice Premiere rookies /99.....

If a Cup tin costs 500-600 this year, his rookie card will be insane.

The Cup McDavid ARP rookies are going to be 15,000-25,000 at this rate....

A 3 color McDavid Cup RPA will likely fetch $25k plus
