I am curious, is there a rarity difference with the last 2 cards you scanned? The Walter Smaill? I don't know very much about vintage stuff...

Thank you! The prevailing theory is that the Hand on Hip variation was the first that was printed and was replaced in printing by the Hand on Stick variation because the former looked awkward (oddly bent arm). The Hip variation is a bit rarer (maybe 2/3 or 3/4 the print run?), though not a "rarity" like the big T206 error cards.

OMG so cool Anish! Love this set and I am working on it now too. Still have a ways to go and not yet sure if I will pursue both Smaill's. Is one preferred over the other? Or is one of them more common and therefore the "set" card? I've never researched this and figured one would be enough for my set.

Anyway, huge congrats on finishing this extremely important set! What is next for you?

Thanks a lot Jeremy! As mentioned above, the Stick variation of Smaill is a bit easier to find and cheaper. I guess whichever one you find in higher grade would be the one for your basic set. That being said, when you have 45/46 cards for the master set, you'll surely end up wanting the other variation haha.

What *should* be next for me is moving all of my no longer PC cards to raise funds. I started picking up some C56's, but my priority will be upgrading this set. I would like to have everything in at least VG and am looking for copies with nicer centering and/or registration for the mid-grade cards. I'll be working on this set for a long time

Thanks! It would definitely look nice framed (at least the 45 card basic set), but I worry about fading due to light exposure. I would also need to be able to replace cards in the display as I upgrade them. Something to consider certainly!
