1971-72 Topps Set Progress Thread

I have decided to attempt to build the 1971-72 Topps set and wanted to share my progress as I go along. the set contains 132 cards and features the rookie cards of Ken Dryden and Syl Apps.

I will add cards to the 2nd post as I get them so you can see all the cards together.

EDIT after spending way too much time away from this project I finally completed it

The hardest card believe it or not will be the checklist un-checked..lol that sucker will cost ya $$

thanks. the Dryden was actually the first card I purchased and when I saw how cool the card was in person I decided to go after the set. yes the checklist unmarked is going to be expensive. it will probably be the last I card I buy.

good luck.. what type of condition are you trying for?? I am working on a set with my son right now Vg on up.. how about you

I am trying for Good and up but I have purchased a few like the Perreault unseen and it was in Poor condition so I will be replacing that one eventually. so far all the others have been to my liking. good luck with your's and your son's set. how far along are you?

I picked up a lot of these cards when I got my shop in 2001. The lot of cards is MOSTLY NM to Nr-Mt and actually had a Dryden Rookie that graded out a BGS 8.5. I can get you a list of what I have if you are interested.
