1990-1999 insert sets that I have finally completed

I have so many projects on the go my goal in 2025 is to try and finish some of them. First up that I completed with my most recent comc order was this set. It has been my nemesis over the years as I don't know how many times I saw one I needed on comc for a good price only to realize when I got it home it was the chrome version.

My photography skills suck and maybe down the road I will do something fancy like Al does but for today this is is

Set #2 completed this week with the arrival of my COMC order. I have needed the Jeff Friesen, well since 1994. Some of these cards I pulled myself way back when and I have finally got around to finishing it.

1993-94 Upper Deck Program of Excellence

Finished this set a couple months ago. Picked up the last 2 cards from a fellow here in Calgary. I am also, or was working on the Die-cut and promo versions but stalled out on those some time ago. Not sure I will ever finish them. Also have a card incoming to finish another year of the masks.

Another set finished last week with the arrival of a comc order. All of these sets I actually pulled some of the cards back in the day but never finished the sets. Always something new and more exciting to open and work on. But I'm enjoying going back and completing the sets

ya for me it was Friesen. Took forever to find that one. It seems for me anyway, I get down to one card and it eludes me for years

Another set completed recently. AS is the case with lots of sets I'm working on I seem to need Gretzky. When I finally came across one and now completed.

Another set finished recently. Not the most glamourous of insert sets but still a cool concept with the full body image of the player and the silhouette in the background. What would have really made this set better was if they had the alternate coloured jersey for the background image similar to the Andreychuk and the Selanne

Well this one just makes the cut for the 1990's. I will have to take a photography course as these shiny ones are tough to make look good

Definitely going to keep up with this thread, it's right up my alley. Love many of these sets, the All-Topps is such a nice, inexpensive set to put together.

Ok slow week finishing anything but I did get one done. I needed the Patrick Roy to finish and finally snagged one for a good price.

This year for Score had some great insert sets. Just have to finish the Golden Blades insert set. Sorry for the weird angle but that was the only way I could get the pictures without shadows

New start to the week and another card arrived to finish another lengthy project. Needed the Gretzky for the longest time and just never grab one. finally did and now another set done.

Another mail day and another set completed. Had been missing 2 cards from this set for sometime and found them on ebay from the same seller which was a plus.

Last week a little slow for set completions. I actually thought I had finished some sets but when I went to add what I thought was the last card, it wasn't. I still needed something.

These 2 sets I only needed one card and finally got around to finishing them. I have a lot of sets in binders as I figured what's the point of having stuff if I can't have access to looking at them. But I curse the 10 card set as they screw up the binder pages. And I don't like other sets encroaching on the same page. So I have a lot of pages with one card only
