1990-91 pro set yellow dot on back by card #

Do these have any importance? Have 5 cards with the yellow dot, did a quick ebay search didnt see anything. Insane how many error cards there are in this product XD

To me that is just a printing error, not one of the many gaffes that Pro Set made that year. If there were any premium it would be slight. Just my little old opinion of course.

Don't mean to hi-jack your thread but this question is 90 ProSet related. I pulled a card, which I don't recall the number, but the back was printed in reverse of a normal card. I have thousands of 1990 Pro-Set and this is the only one that is printed this way. Just wondering if anyone else has seen this with any other card from this set. I also noticed it was not listed in the error checklist. I will try to post a pic but the last time I did, everyone was using photobucket.

Yeah, there are a few groups that make it a point to collect errors. The reverse print would be a very good find…definitely a printing error! Definitely an odd find! Please share!

I think that some of the errors in the process are interesting. The dot is definitely conditions being dirty and a speck on the roller or something. There is the “stanley cup mark” on a card that is an ink smudge that looks like the Stanley Cup, for instance…back of a https://www.ebay.com/itm/1664466438...DcrERn8C2ne2CmLXOvj58BWNi88e|tkp:BFBM9MPh8tNj card, I think.

I have blank backs from 1990 Bowman and a printer’s rejection mark on some 2012 Canvas cards. These are definitely failures in quality control but mini gems if you like them. Oddity collectible, if you will. 1990 Pro Set is littered with them. The photo variations are the more notable chases for any value. These usually have some blood on the player or jersey that were removed early on after initial print runs.
