1990-91 topps

I have seen blank front and blank back versions of that set. I currently do not have one in stock or I would be able to provide a scan.

Quite easy to imagine how they'd look no? :D

Did these actually hit shelves or are they from the Topps vault on ebay?

Point taken...but it is easier to back up a claim when you have photographic proof of it.

I am unsure of the distribution of them, but since it is 1990-91 I would not rule out pack related mishaps.
 
I have some Bowman blank backs from that yr but never seen any Topps blank back or fronts.

Is it possible that it was during a certain print run? (Topps usually had a letter on the back near the copy right date to identify one of usually 4 runs-A, B, C, or D.) It would be nice to know.

The players with the C* and the D* designation are double printed. I know Richter was part of this group so he has a C and a D print designation.

I can't recall which player I had since I sold it at the Spring Expo in 2002.
