So I finally stopped into the pit, it's been months. I needed supplies, but new I wasn't getting out without at least one box. I had intended to open something non-sports but nothing there really appealed, so I had to try Ice. I know a lot don't like it, and it's very hit or miss, but I just love the plexi cards and really don't care if anyone else does.
So first up the rookies:
Now a couple of basic jerseys:
And a nice Black Jersey, these are great looking, and it helps that all 4 jersey swatches are different colors:
Also did get a couple of PC Items, first for the Sens RC collection:
Loved these back in 05-06 and same is true here. Will likely work on the set, but considering the projects I already have on the go, I won't be working too hard on it - if you've got some for trade I'm interested, if you're selling probably not.
Also picked up a couple of last years Binghamton Sens team sets. They come with an auto'd version so thought I'd try my luck. Not so much luck, somebody who's been traded and someone I don't know. Anybody in Carolina want the Eaves? For that matter anyone want the Pecker? Also can spare the base sets so if anyone wants one it'll just be the cost of postage and it's yours, set includes Spezza, Volchenkov, Emery, Vermette, Glass, Schubert etc.
Oh wait, there's one more card, anyone that's seen me break knows that I rarely quit when I'm ahead (right Ernie?), and more importantly what I showed above is far from being ahead. So how's this beauty, definitely the best card I've pulled of him:
I know it won't be staying in the PC, but not sure what I'll do with it, likely will hold until the Expo.
