2 New 2006-07 Products Announced by UD

Here's the latest news from UD for 2006-07. The first release of the 06-07 Hockey season will be in Late August and will be UD Victory. I misplaced all the details about that product, but it will be basically the same as last year. Here is what I was told today about two releases after that:

1. Fleer Ultra Hockey (Release=09-26-06)
Basically the same as last year

2. Flair Showcase Hockey (Release=10-01-06)
Config = 16/18/5
Mid tier price point

Here's the info from the pre-sale sheet:
Find Showcase Inks signature cards in every box on average
Regular cards in 5 great seat locations-from the upper level to the executive lounge
Look for an average of 2 memorabilia cards per box
Get terrific inserts, highlighting young stars,goalies, and more.
Featuring the hot numbers insert
Grab the hot gloves die-cut goaltender cards
Parallels of the entire regular set, numbered to 100 or less

It sounds interesting, wonder what they mean about seat locations.

Nice of them to plan 2006/07 sets when they can hardly get the 2005/06 out the door.
