2 trips to LCS in 2 days for some Series 1. Here's the results....

I called the LCS yesterday after work to see if they had some series 1. He said there was 3 boxes available from a previous case plus a fresh case waiting to be opened. Deciding against getting someone's leftover boxes, I asked if I could do 5 boxes from the sealed case and he said yes. Then later today I was next door running some errands and I stopped by to see if I could grab a few more boxes from the fresh case I had picked from the previous day. He said someone had called and reserved them so I ended up buying those 3 boxes on the shelf from yesterday

At $120US/box this would probably would have been a huge bust of a break if not for the last 2 boxes each containing a Lafreniere. Thanks for looking!

I really hope all the Fanimation cards aren't as horrific as that Marchand. The last 2 years' releases of that insert set looked incredible.

Nope, they came from separate boxes. Are people pulling the YG and YG Canvas from the same box?

I think I read somewhere on here that a couple people had pulled both from the same box. Quite the haul from one box.

Wow, you did a lot better than me. Picked up 3 boxes yesterday, didn't bother with a S&T:

No variations
No exclusives
No clear cut

1 french base card
1 game jersey
1 YG Canvas

My hit was a Draisaitl Predominant Gold.

And I didn't hit any Laf's either. :-(

Even your initial 5 boxes weren't as bad as you are letting on. The Fanimations are difficult pulls, with some value. You killed it with the non-Laf Canvas.
